To obtain a CPL there are certain requirements that must be met. At the time of your Flight Test you must be 18 years of age and hold a class I medical. Below are details on the theory and practical flying that must be undertaken prior to sitting a flight test with an approved Flight Examiner.
Theory :
This encompasses a total of seven different subjects with a separate exam to be taken for each. Whilst a 70% pass must be obtained in each subject, all papers are based on multi choice questions. The seven subjects are listed below :
- Human Factors
- Flight Radio Telephone (FRTO)
- Aircraft technical Knowledge
- Principles of Flight Helicopter
- Air Law
- Navigation
- Meteorology
Practical :
The hours noted below are the minimum required.
