Although currently mandatory when obtaining a NZ CPL, many countries do not have Sling training as part of their syllabus. For any professional helicopter pilot this is a must have and can put you ahead of the next pilot vying for that elusive first job. At Christchurch Helicopters, we provide training to a very high standard in this area.
Our instructors are highly skilled in th exacting art of underslung loads, with years of experience lifting all kinds of loads, on top of fire fighting with monsoon buckets during Canterbury's dry summer months. We can provide training right from the beginner just starting out sling training to the more advanced training with long lines and using turbine aircraft.
